FC Ruckus brings home another Open finish at American Amateur’s Fall Field Trial October 7-9, 2011. Judges Jan Anderson and Vicki Worthington put on a challenging yet fun trial for the dogs and handlers. Ruckus was handled to this JAM (Judges Award of Merit) by Andy Attar. Good Boy, Ruckus!

FC Ruckus brings home another finish with his mom, Susan at Michiana Retriever Club’s Fall Trial held September 30- October 2, 2011. Judges Van Qualls & Carl Cada put on a fun stake with rolly terrain, a natural shoreline water blind, and multiple boat birds. The JAM (Judges Award of Merit) adds another finish for FC Ruckus. We are proud of you Ruckus!

Ruckus completes FC title!

Valor becomes Qualified All-Age

Susan had an exciting weekend at the Wolverine Retriever Club’s Fall Trial September 23-25, 2011, as her boys Ruckus and Valor each brought home the RED in their respective stakes! Ruckus became FC Contempt of Court by taking the Open 2nd with Andy Attar! Susan’s 2nd Field Champion! To add to the excitement, Valor (Medal of Honor) became Qualified All-Age by taking 2nd in his first qualifying stake, an 11th hour entry made by his mom! Valor was also handled by Andy Attar! Valor is the son of FC Honor, and is a half brother to Ruckus. How much more exciting could it get??? You don’t get too many weekends like this running field trials, so we feel very blessed and grateful!

Ruckus & Honor Take All-Age Finishes at Wisconsin Am. Fall 2011 Trial!

FC Honor jammed the Open at the Wisconsin Amateur fall trial, September 16-18, 2011. 54 Starters were present for the trial being judged by Kevin Krueziger and Sharon Gierman. Honor was handled by Andy Attar. At the Amateur stake, judges Tom Felinski and Marv Baumer were putting the contestants through the paces (50 starters) in a challenging trial. Ruckus and Susan finished the trial with a jam. These days, with trials being so tough, it’s an honor to finish and receive that green ribbon! Susan is proud of both of her boys!

Ruckus Takes 4th in Open at Midwest Fall 2011 Trial

Ruckus had another great weekend, placing 4th in the Open at Midwest Field Trial Club’s Fall trial September 2-4, 2011! Only this time, he was being handled by his mom/owner Susan Bledsoe! It’s nice that Ruckus can be handled by his trainer or owner, and still do well! Judges Mary Castineyra & Bruce Borkovich had a taxing weekend as the heat index soared. They still put on a trial that was safe but challenging to the dogs.

Ruckus Wins Central Wisconsin Muddy Waters Open! Qualifies for National

On August 19-21, 2011 Ruckus and Andy Attar brought home the Open blue, which qualified Ruckus for the 2011 National Open Retriever Championship! The 4 series were challenging and difficult yet this team made it look easy! At home, Ruckus’ mom was getting calls from fellow contestants about the fantastic water blind Ruckus ran, terrific last series, etc! Judges Jim Powers and Eddie Tomashek had 63 starters. This was Andy Attar’s first Open win under Judge Jim Powers! What an exciting weekend! Go Ruckus! Mom is proud of you!

FC Honor Jams 95 dog Open at Manitowoc Kennel Club Fall 2011

On August 12-14, 2011 at the Manitowoc Retriever Club 95 fine retrievers competed in the open were tested in a process of elimination by judges Sue Westlake and Pete Hayes. The first series was quite tough, leaving the competitors shaking their heads…………. all leading to a fine finish by FC Honor, who was given a judges award of merit for a fine performance! Honor was one of the first dogs to actually complete the first series, and reports were that he had smashed the test! Andy Attar and Honor’s mom were both very proud of him!

WHAT’S THE RUCKUS ABOUT?

RUCKUS TAKES 2ND AT BLACKHAWK RETRIEVER CLUB’S SPRING 2011 TRIAL & QUALIFIES FOR THE 2011 NATIONAL AMATEUR!

With 62 starters on June 10-12, 2011 in Mondovi, WI, Judges Kurt Turner and Larry Halvorson put the dogs through their paces for 4 fun-filled series! This was the 4th Open that Susan & Ruckus have run together, and it turned out to be quite exciting for both of them! While Ruckus was the first dog Susan has placed in the Open, taking the Open 2nd, & the first dog she has ever qualified for the National Amateur, Ruckus got to hear the words “Good Dog!” Larry and Kurt were surprised to learn they had a national qualifier in their midst! Thanks to both of them for giving up their weekend! A bit thank you to Andy Attar for this fine AA dog, and to Jim VanEngen who gave Ruckus such a great foundation!

Ruckus Completes Another Open! Watopa RC Spring 2011

Contempt of Court (Ruckus) jammed the Spring Open at Watopa Retriever Club’s Spring 2011 trial. There were 65 starters, and the stake was judged by Lew Weller and Glynn Matthews of New York. Ruckus ran a nice trial with his handler and trainer Andy Attar. Good Boy Ruckus!
